After Day 1 of the National Championship

Aaron is in 7th place out of 50. He had a little luck at the Little J but Penns Creek was an absolute mess. It went from 180 to 4600 in no time. There were entire trees that looked to be 100 years old floating down the river. Not one person logged a fish on Penns in the afternoon. Tomorrow is Fishing Creek in the Morning and Spring Creek Beat 1 in the afternoon. Everyone keep sending the good vibes and karma out to PA! Cheers from Aaron and I. Justin

Aaron placed second in his group at the little j with a couple of fish, pulling two out when just about everyone blanked. He has a decent beat on penns but the water is muddy as can be and is full of logs. The streamer rod bit the dust this morning. Giving it his best try into the second hour but things look tough for even a single fish. I have been alerted. No pictures of beats or flies or any clues on tactics. From here on it will be placements and comentary. Ill stick to pictures of Aaron fuel aka diet soda and the measuring box. More to...
